There’s a story behind every historical marker. Many of us just drive by them and never think twice. Some take a quick picture and drive on. Do you wonder what history took place at that specific site? I have always wondered so, I stop.

I read the marker, take pictures, and research its history. With over 16,000 historical markers in Texas, I know I won’t see them all, but I’ll collect as many as I can during my travels throughout the state.
